I didn't get my magic link email

How do I save articles?

Where are my idea cards? I just saved an article.

Idea cards usually appear within a minute or two of saving. Long articles can take longer. If 15 minutes pass with no cards, the article may have been blocked by a paywall or the page may not contain extractable text — try saving from a different source, or email us with the URL.

I'm not getting push notifications

How do I turn notifications off for a specific idea?

Open the idea card and tap the bell icon. You can also archive or retire a card to remove it from your library entirely.

How do I delete my account?

Open Winnow → Settings → Delete Account, type your email to confirm, and tap Delete. Your articles, idea cards, embeddings, push tokens, and notification history are permanently removed within 30 days. We keep an anonymized audit record (a hash of your user ID and email, plus the deletion date) so we can confirm the deletion if you ask later.

You can also email hello@winnow.site from the address on your account and we'll delete it for you.

How do I export my data?

Email hello@winnow.site from the address on your account and ask for an export. We'll send a JSON file with your articles, idea cards, and account settings within 30 days. (A self-serve export button is on the roadmap.)

I think a saved article is wrong or missing

Winnow saves the visible text from the page at the moment you click Save. If a page was paywalled or used heavy client-side rendering, we may have captured incomplete text. Try saving from a different source (e.g., the original publication's site), or email us the URL and we'll take a look.

Will the AI use my saved content to train its models?

No. We use OpenAI's API to generate idea cards and embeddings, and OpenAI's API terms prohibit training on customer data. We don't share your content with anyone else for training purposes.

Is my data secure?

All traffic uses TLS, the database is encrypted at rest, and only Winnow's operator (a one-person team) has access. See the Privacy Policy for details on what we collect and how we protect it.
