Winnow is a personal learning tool that helps you save and remember ideas from articles. The Service includes:

• A browser extension for saving articles
• Mobile and web applications for viewing saved content
• AI-powered idea card generation
• Spaced repetition notifications

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Not use the Service to violate any copyright or intellectual property rights
• Not attempt to bypass paywalls or access controls

4. Content You Save

• You are not violating any terms of service of the source website
• You understand that saved content is for personal use only

Important: Winnow saves only content that you explicitly choose to save and that is visible to you in your browser. We do not bypass paywalls or access controls.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Winnow and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Content you save remains your responsibility. We do not claim ownership of content you save, but you grant us a license to store, process, and display that content as part of the Service.

• Bypass paywalls or access controls
• Distribute copyrighted content without permission

7. AI-Generated Content

Winnow uses AI to generate idea cards from your saved content. These idea cards are summaries and interpretations, not exact copies. We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated content.

8. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time.

9. Limitation of Liability

Winnow is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data or content.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your data will be removed from our systems within 30 days.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
